CUHEP- Photon from Pizero Studies
CU Group Work
Our group at CU has created a number of plots that describe to first order how well we can separate the photons from a pi-zero decay. This report is an initial study. This work is continuing.
Nathan Koral studied how well he could separate the energy deposition from the
two photons in our calorimeter given the design transverse on radial
segmentation. The results presented are just an initial look and we need to
refine some of the definitions we are using describing this energy separation.

Tera Dunn has done a major analysis of this photon separation problem.
Her work now is a major advance towards the understanding on how well we
can separate the two photons. Her work was her honors thesis and is
shown here in ps format.
