Mount Sneffels via SW Ridge from Dallas Creek Trailhead

On the first day of my road trip after leaving Boulder I climbed Mount Sneffels from the North side. The day was rather damp and overcast from the start, and by the time I reached the summit it was very close to being socked in. Descending the north side of the Lavender col, I nearly managed to make it to treeline before the heavy rain started. The trail was terrible, and there were some nasty stream crossings, and I reached the trailhead soaked and worn out. I decided to postpone the Wilson group for another trip.
