After several days of hard driving, hiking, and climbing, I met up with Chris in Lassen Volcanic National Park, where we hiked Lassen Peak. It was a nice easy hike, and quite beautiful, though a bit hazy. At the trailhead, we played around with our alpine gear on the steep snowbanks left over from the previous winter. In the afternoon we drove up to Mount Shasta and set up camp at Bunny Flat.
