The standard route up Capitol from just below the summit. Daly is the peak with the little snowfield just below the summit. K2 is closer, with the sharp couloir leading to the right. Ascend a trail up grassy slopes from the left (west) side of this picture to the saddle below Daly. Drop into the valley behind (northeast of) K2 and ascend to the summit of K2. Drop to our left (west) and traverse south to the ridgeline this side of the big couloir. Follow the ridge across the knife edge, and stick to the ridge until it gets tough; then traverse across the east face on tough ground to attain the summit ridge (right skyline in the previous picture).
